About me...
Greetings!!! My name is Jennifer Pettus and I am the RLA special education co-teacher for 6th and 8th grade at Thompson Middle School. I have been a TMS Panther for 8 years and this is my 22nd year in education. Prior to moving to Quinlan, I both lived and worked in Plainfield, Illinois, (a Chicago suburb). I graduated from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education with a focus in psychology. I am now currently working on my Master's Degree in Special Education with Educational Diagnostician Certification through University of Texas at Tyler.
Availability...
I am available by both phone and email. My conference time is 8:30 - 9:15 which will be the best time for me to talk throgout the day. I am also available to talk before and after school. When calling during the day, you will be sent to voicemail. I try to check my voicemail every morning and I also try to respond to all messages within 24 hours. Email is the fastest and most convenient way to get ahold of me, so please feel free to email me anytime during the day as I check my account multiple times daily. Email allows me to discuss situations with you in a timely manner.
