Welcome

Welcome to another great year at Thompson Middle School!  We can't wait to see everyone on campus this year.  TMS will continue to set high expectations for each student and help them grow to reach those goals.  We have a variety of on-campus clubs and organizations for students to participate in.  It is crucial for students to be involved in at least one club, organization, or athletic team. 

 

Student Incentives—Students earn points by making good grades, having good attendance, and not getting in trouble in classes.  At the end of the year, the top 10 point earners from each grade will win a prize.  We hold random attendance drawings for different items throughout the year.  Students can earn Pride Tickets (positive behavior tickets) in every class daily by behaving according to our campus expectations.  The students save up the Pride tickets and can buy items from the Pride Cart twice every six weeks.      

 

Parents, I need your help in reinforcing the importance of completing and turning in work on time.  I also need your students at school daily (unless they are sick)!  We used to lead the district in attendance, and it is time for the attendance banner to return home!  Our campus goal is 96% attendance; last year, we dropped to 93.9%.  We have some work to do to hit our goal!
