Welcome to 8th Grade Science

Hello, my name is Jamie Edington and I have the privilege of serving your students as their 8th grade science teacher.  I am a native of Oklahoma where I graduated with a BS in Mortuary Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma.  I worked for the family business Roberts and Son Funeral Home as an embalmer/funeral director for 13 years before moving into the field of education.   I moved to Texas in 2011 where I began teaching science in Melissa, Terrell, Royse City and now Quinlan.  I am beginning my 20th year in education.

 

I am married to my husband, Joe and we have 5 children and 7 grandchildren.  We spend our time outdoors walking, attending sporting events, playing with our two dogs, Hank and Jake but mostly we enjoy keeping our grandchildren as much as possible.
