About Me...

I am thrilled to be a part of Quinlan ISD and the Thompson Middle School community! An alumna of the University of Texas and the University of North Texas, I bring 20+ years of passion and experience in education to my Math Intervention classroom.

My husband (Dave) and I live in McLendon-Chisholm with our 2 dogs (Baley and Suvi). We love travel, music, sports, movies, cooking (actually, he cooks and I eat), and spending time with our family and friends. 

I have 3 children, 2 “bonus” daughters, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and 2 grandsons:

• Logan (28) graduated from Mississippi State University and is a construction engineer with Scott+Reid in Dallas. He lives in Sachse with his wife (Erika), their dog (Annie), and 2 cats (Quavo & Jolene).
• Clay (25) graduated from Texas State University and runs a professional teeth whitening studio in Austin.
• Erin (24) graduated from Oklahoma State University and is an behavior therapist in McKinney. She lives in The Colony with her cat (Abby).

• Katie (36) graduated from the University of New Mexico and is a 5th grade teacher. She and her husband (Tim) live in Richardson with their twin boys (Luke & Ryan) and their dog (Indy). 
• Amy (38) graduated from Hillsdale College, lives in Carrollton, and is a published children’s author.
