I will be supporting our Emergent Bilingual Students at Thompson Middle School and Ford High School. My passion for languages led me to become a teacher, and I strive to help students become successful, lifelong learners.  I earned my bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from the University of North Dakota and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Recently, I completed my certification as a bilingual educational diagnostician. 

With over 30 years of experience in education, I've had the privilege of teaching students from Pre-Kindergarten through community college. I also served as an assistant principal for three and a half years and worked as a district language proficiency assessment committee administrator before joining Quinlan.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, exploring interesting places, and spending quality time with loved ones.
